So happy I finally tried this place. Ratings are long and with theee stars, wasn't high on my list but my go to dim sum place closed and this was the next closest to work.
Anyway, went with four co-workers for lunch and ordered way more than pictures posted, but if you have been to dim sum before you really do get caught up in the frenzy of the cart ladies dropping plates of food at such a pace you feel like you have to eat as fast to keep up, which is what happened. Just to give you an idea, in addition to the items pictured, we also had several types of har gow, sesame balls, seafood soup, fish rolls and a few other items that doesn't come to mind right now. Food and service was really good surprisingly. Asking for ice water or extra hot sauce is usually an ordeal, but the waiters were actually looking out for that and came around pretty quickly. They could or should have offered it first, but I'll take fast reactions over completely ignoring us which was the norm. Prices were a little steep for dim sum, but thought the quality was higher than most and certainly reasonable for the amount of food, especially seafood we had.
My one and only complaint would be the cart ladies pushing the food on us. I know there were items on the table non of us wanted, but some of them didn't take no for an answer. I'm also pretty sure one or two items were stamped and charged for but ended up back on their carts after we said no. I can't be positive, so will give the benefit of the doubt this time but offering as a warning to the next diner to make sure they stamp (and charge) only what you eat. -

What a great staple in the SGV. With all the options on Valley, this is def one of the ones that need to be visited. Upon walking in it is a little bit on the banquet style of a restaurant. 888 seafood also always host events, so if youre lucky you can get tickets to one of these events. I was there for the Moon light festival.
This event it self was amazing with Tsing Tao beer sampling, endless food, raffles, live entertainment and so much more. All the decorations were amazing and beautifully done. There are so many different vegetarian options and countless seafood options. There was veggie egg rolls being passed around. Not only were they fresh and hot but full of savory peppered veggies and served with an amazing sauce.
I ended up ordering the crispy noodles with veggie sauce and assorted veggies. The noodles were dropped off fairly quick but that isnt something that is new to 888 Seafood, their service is over the top amazing. Every single server, waitress and host was so helpful and friendly.
When I finally sat down to eat the crispy noodles were amazing! I loved everything! The sauce paired perfectly with the crunchy crispy noods. The sauce was filled with book choy, hearty mushrooms and carrots. Overall this dish was amazing! I also loved the moon cakes, they were just the right amount of sweet and cakey. -

Around the San Gabriel Valley area there are tons of places for awesome Chinese food especially dimsum. I came upon 888 Seafood because my sister was looking to do a wedding celebration dinner for her close friends and family Fortunately we came upon this restaurant because if the following reasons:
1) There is ample parking.
2) The interior has been fully remodeled with upscale furnishings.
3) The main rooms have LED screens across the entire wall.
4) Great place for dimsum as the servers actually want you to try their food. Most places you have to call them to come over.
5) Dinner was great as the portions were huge for a party of 10 at each table.
6) Customer service is on point as they are always there to ensure the guests are taken care of.
7) They offer kareoke machine and sound systems if needed.
8) High ceilings to make the room appear big and also large enough for a lion dance.
9) Great to stream videos and wedding slide show.
I will attach pictures for reference. -

I came here for a wedding celebration a couple of weeks ago. Their dining room is pretty big and can accommodate a large party. There's even enough room for a dance floor.
The wedding feast was pretty extensive consisting of multiple courses. Some of the food highlights were:
House Special Lobster,
Peking Duck
Jellyfish with Thousand Year Old Egg
Steamed Whole Fish
Three Flavor Noodles
Sauteed Vegetables with Scallop & Shrimp
Abalone
Mashed Taro
Fish Maw Soup
There was so much food served for each table that we couldn't finish it all! My favorite was definitely the lobster! I ended up eating 3 lobster tails! Yum! I also really liked the Peking Duck! We left feeling super full and stuffed! Great place to hold an event or celebration! -

I basically grew up eating here on the weekends with my family and anyone else who comes to visit. This most recent time I went was on a Saturday around 11am and there was surprisingly no line! This was especially surprising because this was the Saturday before Fathers Day!
I came with my family of 4 other people. and we ordered quite a bit of food. The bill turned out to be $168 which is a bit steep for dim sum but expected because each dish only has 4 pieces.
My favorite is the chicken feet, siu mai, and tofu flower dessert. The most disappointing dish was the xiao long baos... the skin was so thick and there was absolutely no juice/soup when I ate it.
This place is also good for weddings and family gatherings because it is such a spacious environment and it will probably always be the go to place for decent dim sum and service.
Warning, parking is extremely difficult to find especially because this plaza has so many different places to eat/drink so try to allocate time for finding parking!
